Between Worlds- Body, Nature and Spirit

Taylor Mead

This series explores the shifting boundaries between the physical, natural, and spiritual worlds. At the core of my work is a deep curiosity about our connection—to ourselves, each other, nature, and the cosmos. I’m not searching for answers so much as experiencing the questions: What does it mean to be alive? Why are we here? My art is about feeling these mysteries and creating spaces where people can reconnect with something bigger than themselves.

To me, connection is the invisible thread that holds everything together. I’m fascinated by how energy, emotions, and consciousness flow through us, linking our individual lives to a vast, universal web. My work dives into this idea, exploring how our inner worlds reflect the patterns of nature and the cosmos.

I use vibrant colors, sacred geometry, and symbolic figures to explore the intersections between the human mind and the natural world. Patterns like the Flower of Life and Metatron’s Cube aren’t just visually interesting—they’re ancient symbols of harmony and unity, reminding us that we’re all part of something much larger than ourselves.

I’m also drawn to altered states of consciousness—those moments when the boundaries between self and the universe blur. Whether through dreams, meditation, or psychedelics, these experiences open doorways to hidden layers of reality. My work captures that sense of expansiveness, using swirling patterns, radiant colors, and meditative figures that reflect both vulnerability and transcendence.
