Creativity 2.0: A Future with AI is meant to be a thought-provoking work that explores the transformative intersection of artificial intelligence and human artistic expression. Considering the recent rise of AI generated art taking the internet by storm, what type of future will AI hold in the world of art and how will it be beneficial? This is the question that this project aims to explore and use as a guide. The focus of the project centers on the conversation of how AI can impact and redefine the creative process by using both a booklet that introduces average viewers to AI art programs from the perspective of an artist and three distinct posters, each representing a different facet of art production: pure AI generation, human craftsmanship, and a hybrid of both.  

AI Poster: "Artificial Vision: Art Born from Innovation" 

The first poster is a product of advanced AI algorithms, showcasing the capabilities of technology to generate intricate and imaginative visuals from data alone. This piece illustrates AI's potential to create unique, complex artworks by synthesizing vast amounts of information and patterns using human prompts to guide it. 

Human Poster: "Human Technique: Flawed yet Perfect” 

In contrast, the second poster is a testament to the skill and intuition of human artists. This poster emphasizes the depth of emotional connection, personal experience, and subjective creativity that human artists bring to their work. 

AI and Human Poster: "Collaborative Art: A New Tool for Artists" 

The final poster represents a synergy between human creativity and AI's computational prowess. It demonstrates how the integration of AI tools can enhance and expand artistic possibilities, blending human imagination with algorithmic innovation to produce a novel and dynamic piece. 

Accompanying the posters is a booklet that discusses how the implementation of AI in art is part of a broader pattern of technological advancements as well as some of the ethical problems and misconceptions from the perspective of an artist. The booklet will also delve into the process behind the methodologies employed, from the program used for AI-generated art to the techniques of human artistry, to the challenges each presented and how these elements can coexist and complement each other. 

Creativity 2.0: A Future with AI’s introductory booklet and three distinct posters that showcase the strengths and weaknesses of algorithmic art and human artistry while focusing on how a possible future in which the use of AI in art is common and ethical should lead people to contemplate the evolving role of AI in the world of art and envision the possibilities of a future where technology and human creativity merge further to create new forms of expression and build upon existing ones to work towards a more productive and creative future.
